Natural stone requires heavy lifting equipment and skilled masonry labour, and is prone to frost damage and erosion. These are lightweight, install with basic tools, and are built for consistent weather resistance.
Will they crack, flake, or erode like real sandstone?▾
No — unlike quarried sandstone, which can flake and erode over years of freeze-thaw exposure, these are manufactured for consistent long-term resistance from installation.
What lengths and profiles are available?▾

Lightweight enough to be fitted by two people using standard tools, unlike natural stone equivalents, which typically require lifting equipment and a stonemason. Fix using Low Expansion Foam or profile adhesive.
Do they need ongoing maintenance?▾
No regular maintenance beyond occasional cleaning — unlike natural stone, which can need periodic stabilisation treatment as it weathers.
